Fraterna- Fraterna is the news-bulletin of the International Hoya Association. The IHA has been active since 1988, when it was known as the Hoya Society, West Coast. Full-color bulletins are sent out quarterly. The fall issue contains new Hoya species publications. Dues to the IHA are $25USD/yr, on-line sign-up is available at the IHA website.
Asklepios- Asklepios is the journal of the International Asclepiad Society (IAS). Three high-quality full-color issues are produced per year. Articles cover all genera in subfamily Asclepiadoidea, and occasionally other succulent Apocynacea. Subscriptions are available on-line.Asclep-Hoya- This is the revue of the Association Francophone des Amateurs de Hoya (the AFAHo). This is a pdf-format electronic news-bulletin in French only. Membership in this French language society are available by contacting Alexandre Gavrus or Vanessa Gonnot.
Hoyatelegrafen- This is the news-bulletin of the Swedish Hoya Society (SHS). Four paper issues are produced yearly. The photographs used in Hoyatelegrafen are usually of the finest quality. Species new to cultivation are often depicted. In Swedish only. Membership subscription is available at the SHS website, where a few sample articles, with English translations, may be viewed. Yearly dues are 260 SEK (about $40 USD) for membership outside Sweden, or 180 SEK within Sweden.

Biodiversity Heritage Library- This site contains several important texts from the 19th century concerning Hoya and Dischidia.
Botanicus.org- the website portal to the Missouri Botanical Garden Library, Botanicus features hundreds of digitalized, rare botanical texts from the 18th and 19th centuries. One of the best Hoya sources found here is a digitalized series of Curtis' Botanical Magazine.
Botanova- This Swedish nursery offers several books written in Swedish and one (the most recent) in English on the genus Hoya, all written by nursery proprietors Anders Wennstrom and Katarina Stenman.
Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences- This site, which contains digitalized titles selected for their relevance for the study of the development of science and research in the Netherlands, contains several important texts concerning the early description of Hoya species and sections.
